Toddlers love the world of colors. There are many coloring activities for toddlers that help them to improve their finger pressure as well their color sense. Below are some of the toddler coloring activities :

  • Object Painting
Draw any known object on a piece of paper and ask your children to color the object with the actual color. Like if you draw apple, ask your child to color it with red. Make him learn that apple is red and let him recognize the color red.

  • Drop Paintings
Spread a large piece of paper on a table or floor. Provide various different colors to your children. Ask your child to hold the brush and with different colors place a drop on the paper. Make him learn the difference of size and let him recognize different colors.

  • Shape Design Painting
Place different kinds of objects of various different sizes on a table. Objects can be of any shape like jar lids, cups, blocks, bowls, etc. Ask your child to dip the shapes into the paint and place it on a piece of paper. Ask your child to spread paint on a piece of paper. Give him some straws of different sizes and ask him to blow the paint on the paper.

  • Snow Painting
During winters or at the time of snow falling, let your child enjoy the bliss of snow painting. He can paint snow with water colors or tempera paints and make beautiful objects out of the painted snow.
